Panini’s high-end offerings for its sophomore season as the NBA’s exclusive licensee of trading cards tips off with Timeless Treasures, a pack product that carries the hits and a mix of aesthetics that might appeal to a few types of collectors when it arrives on Dec.8.
Each five-card pack will include three autographs or memorabilia cards — a minimum of one autograph — and two base cards or parallels numbered to 399 or less.
Each 15-tin case will include at least one of the following card types: autographs of Kobe Bryant, Magic Johnson, Bill Russell, Bill Walton, John Stockton, Larry Bird, Shaquille O’Neal or John Wallas well as Cut Signatures, Logoman cards, Logoman Signatures, Laundry Tag Logoman cards, Laundry Tag Logoman Signatures, Laundry Tag Team Logos and Laundry Tag Team Logo Signatures.
Panini promises more than 300 1/1 cards in the product as well as exclusive autographs of Wesley Johnson and Brandon Jennings.

The base set consists of 100 cards limited to 399 and 50 rookies also limited to just 399 copies.
Among the highlights are: the first memorabilia card pairing Lakers Hall of Famers George Mikan and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, autographs of Scottie Pippen, Allen Iverson, a line of Souvenir Cuts which will highlight the biggest names in basketball history and Rookie Year Materials that focuses on rookie jersey swatches and autographs.
Also in the mix are Hall of Fame Dual and Quad Materials cards, which will pair legends from the past, along with what Panini promises to be a healthy amount of laundry tag and Logoman cards along with its healthy dose of 2010-11 rookie autographs in its Rookie Recruit Signatures set. |
