Detroit Tigers pitcher Rick Porcello is Topps’ 9th Finest Rookie Redemption card

Topps announced its ninth Finest Rookie Redemption of the year on Wednesday, and it’s Detroit Tigers pitcher Rick Porcello.
Porcello is 10-8 with a 4.39 ERA and 66 strikeouts in 123 innings for the AL Central-leading Tigers.
The players redeemable for the 2009 Topps Finest Baseball Redemptions # 7 are Neftali Feliz, Pitcher, Texas Rangers and # 8 Nolan Reimold, Outfielder, Baltimore Orioles.

Padres OF Kyle Blanks is Topps’ 6th Finest Rookie Redemption

Topps announced the sixth player in its 2009 Finest Rookie Redemption set on Friday, and it’s San Diego Padres outfielder Kyle Blanks.
In 49 games this season, he is hitting .248 with nine home runs and 20 RBI.
Topps will announce the rest of the 10 rookies throughout the remainder of the season. Each master box of Finest includes one Rookie Redemption, which can also be found in Refractor (#’d to 199) and Gold Refractor (#’d to 50) versions.
