First look: 2009 Topps T206 Baseball 100th Anniversary Edition

Topps released images and basic product information on Friday for its upcoming baseball card set that pays tribute to the T206 memorable tobacco cards of the early 1900s. While you’ll find much more on the product — and additional images — in the latest issue of Beckett Baseball, here’s the lowdown …

The 2009 T206 Baseball 100th Anniversary Edition arrives in November with eight cards per pack,20 packs per box and 10 boxes per hobby case. Each hobby box will include one autograph card and one Relic.

The set will consist of 300 cards — veterans, retired players and rookies — as well as 50 short-printed variations, which will be found one in every four packs.

          

PARALLELS
A new Parallel will be regular size Bronze cards (one per pack), while the popular tobacco card-sized mini parallels return once again in every pack. Here’s the breakdown:
• Piedmont (300 cards): A Piedmont ad on the back — one per pack.
• Polar Bear (300): A Polar Bear ad on the back — 1:10 packs.
• Old Mill (300): An Old Mill ad on the back in red ink — 1:20 packs.
• Cycle (300): A Cycle ad on the back — sequentially numbered to 99.
• Gold Chrome Piedmont (300): Gold Chrome Refractor of Piedmont parallel — hobby-only and numbered to 50.
• Carolina Brights (300): A Carolina Brights ad on the back in red ink with a red border — hobby-only 1/1s.
• Short-printed variations (50): Cards will be found one in 20 packs.

INSERTS
• Autograph cards (20 cards)
• Relic Cards (25): Placed in a Piedmont-branded frame.
• Polar Bear Framed Relics (25): Placed in a Polar Bear-branded frame.
• Old Mill Framed Relics (25): Placed in an Old Mill-branded frame.
• Short-printed Silk Parallel (50): Silks for the 50 SP parallels (numbered to 50).
• Buybacks: Original T-206 cards
• Printing Plates (300): Hobby-only plates for mini cards.
• Non-framed autograph cards (20): Standard-size cards.
• Book Cards (25): Original T206s will be repurchased and be embedded in a hobby-only book card along with a cut signature.
• Printing Plates (350): Hobby-only standard-size printing plates of each base card.
• Boxloader proof strips (TBD): A hobby-only perforated strip of five players’ cards.

我覺得~如果只想收單一個人的卡
還是買單卡比較划算喔~
如果只想拆到他的簽名卡~
算一算比例也要好幾十盒才會中

單卡要抽自己喜歡的球員很難,都隨機放入的~如果要收套卡買整盒較划算;收卡要依自己的喜好去收~才能體會收卡的樂趣.
