2021 Panini Origins Football is about beginnings. Not surprisingly, rookies make up a large portion of the checklist. More than that, this is the first product to feature the year’s draft picks with on card autographs in their full NFL uniforms.


Seven-card hobby boxes have three total hits including one rookie patch autograph. There’s also another autograph and a memorabilia card.

2021 Panini Origins Football Checklist Overview

2021 Origins starts out with a 100-card base set. As usual for the line, abstract designs bring a standout look and plenty of pop. In addition to the standard mix of veterans, rookies are also in the main set this year. In the past, they have been limited to just hits.






Parallels, which combine to land two per hobby box, are available in Red (/299), Orange (/175), Blue (/99), Silver (/79), Turquoise (/25), Gold (/10), Green (/5) and Black (1/1).


Rookie Jumbo Patch Autographs are back. Parallels for these include Red (/99 or less), Orange (/75 or less), Blue (/49 or less), Turquoise (/25 or less), Gold (/10 or less), Green (/5 or less), and Black Nike Swoosh (1/1).


On-card signatures are the order in Rookie Autographs. Parallel colors and quantities are similar to their Jumbo Patch Autographs counterparts.


Origins Autographs are also hard-signed. However, these use a darker backdrop and either silver or gold ink. Among the versions for these are one-of-one Gold Ink Inscriptions.


Three autograph inserts look to the best 2021 rookie standouts in individual positions: quarterbacks (Passing Stars Signatures), running backs (Rushing Stars Signatures) and receivers (Receiving Stars Signatures). Inscriptions are also possible here.


Rookie Booklet Patch Auto and Rookie Stars Dual Patch Signatures are among the book card possibilities in 2021 Panini Origins Football.



Established Signatures bring some veteran ink to the checklist.


The one-per-box memorabilia cards all either come with jumbo or patch swatches.


Another addition for 2021 is Aboriginal, a case-hit insert.
