2021 Select Football calls upon tigers and zebras. Some snakes even make their presence known. They help put a different spin that helps set Select apart from other chromium football card brands.


Parallels are at the forefront, with 15 total in every hobby box. They’re joined by a pair of autographs, a memorabilia card and six additional inserts.


2021 Select Football Checklist Overview


With 400 cards, the Select base set is bigger than a lot of other releases. But it’s not so straightforward. Within those 400 cards are four distinct sections: Concourse, Premier Level, Club Level and Field Level, which are the rarest. Not only do each of these sections have a slightly different design, but their availability and parallel lineups vary somewhat as well.





Of the 15 Prizms parallels per hobby box, ten are Silver. The remaining five come from the product’s many other colors.

Although not numbered, according to Panini, Zebra Prizms are among the toughest in the product, landing approximately one per 12-box hobby case.







XRC Mystery Redemptions are only in hobby packs. These are good for cards of 2022 draft picks that will go out after the season has started.


Autographs and Memorabilia Cards


When it comes to hits, Select doesn’t typically over complicate things. While there are different combinations of signatures and swatches, they’re usually named as such. The parallels are where more of the variety come into play.


Rookie Signature Memorabilia and Jumbo Rookie Signature Swatches are among the highlights.


Parallels for Rookie Signature Memorabilia cards include Blue Prizms (/75 or less), Purple Prizms (/49 or less), Tie-Dye Prizms (/25 or less), Gold Prizms (/10 or less), Green Prizms (/5 or less) and Black Prizms (1/1).







Jumbo Rookie Signature Swatches cards have White Prizms (/75 or less), Copper Prizms (/49 or less), Tie-Dye Prizms (/25 or less), Gold Prizms (/10 or less), Green Prizms (/5 or less), Blacks Prizms (1/1), and additional one-of-one Brand Logo, NFL Shield and Tag Black Prizms.








The don’t have autographs, but Jumbo Rookie Swatch cards do come with large memorabilia pieces. The rainbow for these include White Prizms (/35), Tie-Dye Prizms (/25), Gold Prizms (/10), Brand Logo Black Prizms (1/1), NFL Shield Black Prizms (1/1), and Laundry Nike Black Prizms (1/1).







Additional Inserts


2021 Select Football has several additional inserts that are exclusive to hobby packs.

Color Wheel makes its pigskin premier. These have a minimalist design but a colorful backdrop that cover the rainbow all in the same image. Firestorm is another debut. For both of these, Gold Prizms (/10) and Black Prizms (1/1) are the lone parallels.



  



Other chase sets that are new to football include Artistic Selections and Future Franchise.


Phenomenon, Sensations and Snapshots all return for another year. Phenomenon parallels come with Silver Prizms, Zebra Prizms, Tie-Dye Prizms (/25), Gold Prizms (/10), Green Prizms (/5), Green and Black Snakeskin Prizms (/2) and Black Prizms (1/1).
