2022 Topps Formula 1 marks the second year of the flagship racing card line. Following up from 2021, it offers a more affordable price point over Chrome and an expansive checklist with several inserts and parallels.


2022 Topps Formula 1 Checklist Overview


The base set, which is central to the release, has 200 total cards. It highlights F1 racers and highlights over the past season.


All 200 cards have several parallels including:

• Checker Flag – 1 per hobby pack
• Rainbow Foil – 4 per blaster-style value box
• Aqua – /199
• Fuchsia – /150
• Yellow – /125
• Blue – /99
• Green – /75
• Gold – /50
• Orange – /25
• Black – /10
• Red – /5
• FoilFractor – 1/1
  

  



Memorabilia Cards and Other Inserts


Hits aren’t guaranteed in every 2022 Topps F1 hobby box. In fact, based on preview information, collectors shouldn’t expect any autographs on the checklist. Relics are included, though, landing every other hobby box. These all have pieces of race-worn gear.







Memorabilia parallels come in Blue (/99), Green (/75), Gold (/50), Black (/10), Red (/5) and FoilFractor (1/1).


Five additional insert sets are also on the 2022 Topps F1 checklist.


Topps 1968 Hot Rod (20 cards) draws its inspiration from a vintage set.








The 15-card Bounce, Rock, Roll, Race might not be based on a throwback design, but it’s still taking it back in time with a disco-era design.








Flash of Brilliance uses a neon look to spotlight 15 top drivers.







Art du Grand Prix is intended to look like travel posters of five key Grand Prix tracks. Oversized versions are included as hobby box toppers.






Rounding things out is Clean Air, Blue Skies (10 cards).


All five regular insert sets also have Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/5), FoilFractor (1/1) and Printing Plate (1/1) parallels. For the Art du Grand Prix boxloaders, there are Gold (/50), Orange (/25) and Red (/5) versions.
