2018-19 NBA Hoops Basketball continues with the line’s tradition of being the first pack-based product out of the gate to highlight rookies in their pro uniforms. The first full-fledged NBA release of the season following a couple of college-themed sets, it’s meant to be accessible and offer something collectors can build. Autographs and tough inserts are also part of the broad checklist.




2018-19 NBA Hoops Overview


Traditionally, Hoops comes with one of the year’s more comprehensive base sets. In addition to the veterans are Rookie Cards from the likes of Deandre Ayton, Luka Doncic and Trae Young, all wearing their NBA jerseys. New to 2018-19 NBA Hoops are Hoops Tribute base cards that include some of basketball’s past.





Autographs combine to land three per 2018-19 NBA Hoops hobby box. Hot Signatures have ink from veterans and retired stars. Hot Rookie Signatures are all about first-year players. Both come with Red Hot parallels numbered to 25.

The 2018-19 NBA Hoops checklist has a deep roster of inserts, many of which are hobby-exclusives. Courtside is all about photography. Backstage Pass goes off the court to showcase the game from behind-the-scenes.







Road to the Finals returns with a large checklist charts every game of the postseason.







The Golden State Warriors appear on the short-printed NBA Champions card, a Hoops tradition dating back almost 30 years. More playoff moments are captured on Finals MVP and Championship Moments.

To be frank, the Panini America 2018 NBA Rookie Photo Shoot earlier this month left us anxiously awaiting the start of the 2018-19 NBA season. But we didn’t necessarily appreciate just how much we were anticipating it until recently, when the solicitation material was distributed for 2018-19 NBA Hoops Basketball, the landmark release that will officially usher in the new NBA collecting season when it arrives in hobby shops across North America in late October.

In addition to delivering the league’s most potential-packed rookies in their new NBA uniforms (with both Rookie Cards and autographs), 2018-19 NBA Hoops Basketball also packs 11 hobby-exclusive insert sets and provides a comprehensive recap of the 2017-18 season and a bright look forward at the season ahead.
