2017 Topps WWE NXT is the second set of wrestling cards for WWE’s “farm system.” However, it’s the first to get a traditional hobby distribution following 2016’s online-exclusive release.
The checklist is a relatively simple one that includes one autograph in every hobby pack.
Base Set
The 2017 Topps WWE NXT base set takes a story approach, similar to what Road to WrestleMania does with the main roster. Spanning 50 cards, it highlights a year’s worth of key matches and other big moments.
Parallels come in six levels: Bronze (1:2 packs), Blue (/50), hobby-only Silver (/25), Gold (/10), Red (1/1) and Printing Plates.
Roster Cards
Fifty Roster cards are essentially an off-shoot of the base set. These card profile NXT superstars who are currently on the roster as well as some big-name recent call-ups like Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe.
The Roster parallels are the same as the ones in the base set except the Bronze cards come numbered to 99.
Autographs
The one-per-hobby-pack 2017 Topps WWE NXT Autographs have a design that’s very similar to the Roster cards. Signers cover both the men’s and women’s divisions and include some wrestlers who have not signed before.
Autograph parallels feature Bronze (/99), Blue (/50), Silver (/25), Gold (/10), Printing Plates and Red (1/1).
