2017 Topps Dynasty Baseball may no longer be the most expensive product in the company’s portfolio. But it’s still far from cheap. The brand returns for another year of single-card boxes where everything is an autograph numbered to 10 or less.
The 2017 Topps Dynasty Baseball checklist starts with Dynasty Autographed Patches. Signed on-card, these have a similar layout to past years but the design elements are significantly different. The swatch is bigger than those found in a lot of products. Base versions have ten copies each while parallels come numbered to 5 and 1.
While individual cards are all rare, earlier Dynasty releases have seen players appear on multiple cards.
On This Day Autographed Patch cards (/5) come have swatches with MLB Authentication. This allows collectors to track what game it came from. These jersey pieces also come from games that carry significance. The only parallels for these are one-of-ones.
New to 2017 Topps Dynasty Baseball are Autographed MLB Silhouetted Batter Logo Patch Cards. All are one-of-a-kind to the product.
Also new are Dynasty Dual Autographed Patch cards. Numbered to 5, these have autographs and swatches from two players.
Some retired greats are also included in a couple of spots. Dynasty Autographed Dual Relics (/5) are where they’re found most often.
2017 Topps Dynasty Baseball also has Cut Signatures and Dual Relic Cut Signatures from all-time greats. These are limited to one copy each.
