The best of the best. The greatest athletes of generations are making their way into an Upper Deck set featuring men and women at the top of their games.

Upper Deck was very select in picking the athletes to appear in 2012 All-Time Great Sports Edition. Just 20 superstars made the cut.

Four cards will come in one tin with three base cards and one autograph, all of which are on-card signatures. The base set consists of 100 cards.

The checklist includes Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Dan Marino, Jerry Rice, Annika Sorenstam, Larry Bird, LeBron James, Bobby Orr, Landon Donovan, Barry Sanders, Richard Petty, Kelly Slater, Joe Sakic, Wayne Gretzky, Bo Jackson, Mario Lemieux, Pete Rose, Hulk Hogan, Mike Tyson and Troy Aikman.

Some of the dual autographs in the set include living athletes paired with cut signatures such as Mike Tyson and Joe Frazier on a card.

Other Legacy Book Cards include:

・ Barry Sanders/Red Grange
・ Wayne Gretzky/Maurice Richard
・ Jerry Rice/Walter Payton

Beyond just base and autograph cards, there are hologram cards as well.

Some of the hologram cards will feature dual autographs and favorites from the set such as Wayne Gretzky and Michael Jordan on one card.

We recently had a signing session with Michael Jordan where he signed trading cards for upcoming releases of 2012 Goodwin Champions, 2011-12 Fleer Retro Basketball and Upper Deck’s 2012 All-Time Greats Sports Edition. Take a look at a selection of some of his amazing autographed cards that you can find in the All-Time Greats set when it releases this fall.

Recently Upper Deck conducted a signing with one of the greatest wide-receivers of all-time. Jerry Rice signed a variety of cards for the 2012 Upper Deck All-Time Greats Sports Edition product which is set to hit stores in December. We were able to capture a variety of images from the signing session showing off some of the amazing cards that can be found in the set. Take a look!

Upper Deck had an error in its numbering on some of the hits in 2012 All-Time Greats, which released this week.

The Letterman cards were not numbered properly, and are actually rarer than it states on each card.

The cards were numbered to the entire print run of the full name and not the individual letter cards. For example, Troy Aikman’s last name has six letters. However, each Letterman card is numbered to 60 when in fact each should be numbered to just 10 (one of the cards is pictured above).

Here is the entire list of Letterman cards in the product with the correct numbering.
