Given its name, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that 2022 Topps Star Wars Signature Series is all autographs. Getting right to the point, each hobby box has one autograph card and that’s it. Like last year’s release, the checklist is a deep one, covering all corners of the franchise.
Base autographs are where the majority of the cards land. According to Topps, more than 100 different signers are in the release, meaning some major names and some that probably won’t be overly recognizable outside of their costumes.
Further expanding the checklist are Design Variations that have a slightly different background.
Parallels come in five levels:
Blue – /50
Green – /25
Orange – /10
Black – /5
Red – 1/1
Joining the base autographs are multi-signature cards with two, three or four signers. Quad autographs are new for 2022. Parallels for these are limited to one-of-one Red.
Based on preview images, it appears that all autographs use stickers and are not on-card. This was the case with 2021 Topps Star Wars Signature Series as well.
All cards are packaged inside of a holder.
