TOPPS ANNOUNCES WBC REDEMPTIONS…#3 GIFT NGOEPE, #4 UBALDO JIMENEZ and #5 SIDNEY DE JONG



Topps, the exclusive producer of 2009 World Baseball Classic trading cards, announces the player redeemable for the 2009 Topps Baseball Series 1 World Baseball Classic Redemption # 3 is Gift Ngoepe, 2B, South Africa,  # 4 is Ubaldo Jimenez, P, Dominican Republic and # 5 Sidney De Jong, C, Netherlands (images attached).

Throughout the remainder of the 2009 World Baseball Classic, Topps will announce the subjects for the 10-card WBC Redemption program.  Each Topps Series 1 Hobby Box includes (1) WBC Redemption, which can be redeemed online at www.topps.com/redemption.  Once collectors enter the pin code, they will be given a designated number that is assigned to a specific player to be determined

The cards will be printed on Topps Chrome technology and shipped to collectors first week of June.
