May 28 2008 10:37AM
To coincide with the French Open and the official start of the summer tennis season, Ace Authentic will releasing its newest product, Match Point, on May 29.
Match Point boasts the first-ever cards licensed by Roland-Garros, site of the French Open. The series features 18 different players highlighting specific accomplishments at the tournament. Special versions of the cards contain actual red clay from center court.
In addition to the French Open cards, Match Point also averages four autographs and one memorabilia card per 24-pack box.
"We are very proud of all the design diversity and value that we have been able to put into Match Point" says Victor Shaffer, Co-CEO of Ace Authentic. "Collectors and distributors have been asking us for more autographs, better players and more diverse designs to enhance the pack opening experience."
Among the cards that will add some excitement for pack busters are the first-ever autograph and memorabilia cards for Billie Jean King, Roy Emerson Fred Stolle and Johan Kriek.
Match Point also will feature Rookie Cards for highly ranked chart climbers such as John Isner (took a set from Federer at the US Open), Vera Zvonareva (#12), Agnieszka Radwanska (#15) and Ivo Karlovic (#21).
The release also includes base, autograph, memorabilia and dual memorabilia cards of all the top stars, including Roger Federer, Maria Sharapova, Rafael Nadal, Novak Djokovic and Andy Roddick. |
