Topps readies Ricky Vaughn-Charlie Sheen jersey cards for upcoming high-end baseball card brands
Ricky Vaughn just went high-end.
Topps teased on Tuesday that it has acquired a Major League 2-style jersey worn by Charlie Sheen and that it intends to cut up the jersey to release memorabilia cards in at least three forthcoming baseball products.
According to a post on the company’s Instagram page, the Relic cards will appear in 2014 Topps Triple Threads, Five Star and Topps Dynasty — a new high-end product.
This year is the 25th anniversary of Major League and Topps is readying a series of autographed cards for 2014 Topps Archives, which arrives next month. Sheen was revealed as the first signer for that product last week. |
