Another high-end release is coming to the football market in December with the debut of 2015 Topps Diamond and it is expected to bring collectors plenty of limited autograph and patch cards from the game’s best stars and rookies.

Topps has taken things to a new level as the cards utilize refractor foil technology and each one is sequentially numbered. Every autograph is on-card each pack will contain three premium cards.

Diamond Autographs will be seeded at least once per pack and the roster is set to include the best rookies along with veterans and retired players. The basic version sees the players sign with silver ink and they are numbered to just 10 copies each. The Blue Diamond parallel (numbered to 5) has metallic blue ink while the Gold Diamond cards are signed in gold ink and are one-of-ones. There is also a one-of-one Gold Inscription edition for player collectors to chase. Topps also paired up players for the double-sided Dual Diamond Autographs and the base version is numbered to 10 with a Gold Diamond parallel (one-of-one).

The second card in the pack will come in two distinct varieties and they combine autographs and patches. Diamond Autograph Patches focus on established talents and have large multi-color patches from game-used jerseys while Rookie Autograph Jumbo Patches use prime pieces from jerseys worn at the 2015 NFLPA Rookie Premiere. All of these cards are numbered and have Blue Diamond, Violet Diamond (numbered to 25), Green Diamond (numbered to 10), Gold Diamond (one-of-one), and Gold Inscription (one-of-one) parallels. The Rookie Autograph Jumbo Patches will also have a one-of-one Gold Nike Swoosh version that will prove to be a major pull.

When it comes to the final card in the pack, Topps has noted that it will either be an additional Diamond Autograph, Diamond Autograph Patch or Rookie Autograph Patch. Some of the latter hits could come in the form of a Dual Rookie Autograph Jumbo Patch Book. Numbered to 10, the pairings will focus on the best freshmen and a Gold one-of-one parallel will exist as well.
