In the past, there hasn’t been much in the way of basketball card prospecting prior to a player’s arrival in the NBA. Currently, NCAA players cannot appear in products or they risk their eligibility. But basketball is a global game, which means there are other ways to look to the future (or the present if you follow Euroleague hoops). 2015-16 Upper Deck Euroleague Basketball is such a product.
It may not have names that a lot of collectors in North America know now, but as the international scene develops, there’s the potential for some NBA players to emerge.
2015-16 Upper Deck Euroleague Basketball has five autographs per box.
Other than that and a basic configuration, not much else has been announced about the set so far. Base cards use action photography, capturing the league’s players in games.
Collectors can also expect a traditional mix of short prints and serial-numbered parallels.
