2017 Topps Star Wars: Rogue One Series 2 trading cards work to fill in the many story gaps from Series 1. Because the first set’s release coincided with the film’s theatrical run, there were limitations do to the potential for spoilers and unreleased images. This bookend takes care of those.
Autographs are a focal point of hobby boxes. The combine with manufactured patch cards and sketch cards to land two per box. Each pack has eight cards including an insert and at least one parallel.
Base Set

The base set features 100 cards. The plot is the key focus, centering on the Rebellion attempting to steal the plans for the original Death Star. If you’ve seen the original Star Wars, you know how that works out.
Parallels come in several colors with Death Star Black being the most common. Others available in hobby packs are Green Squadron (1:2 packs), Blue Squadron (1:4), Gray Squadron (/100), Gold Squadron (/50), Printing Plates (1/1) and Red Squadron (1/1).
Premium Inserts

2017 Topps Star Wars: Rogue One Series 2 has three types of premium inserts. Autographs are the most prominent. While the checklist is far from complete, Donnie Yen (Chirrut Imwe), Genevieve O’Reilly (Mon Mothma) and Paul Kasey (Edroi Two Tubes) are among those confirmed.
Dual and Triple Autographs are also available, albeit in small numbers and only in hobby packs.
Manufactured Patch cards come with three levels of parallels: Silver (/100), Gold (/50) and Red (/10).
Finally, there are sketch cards. These have original artwork from Lucasfilm-approved artists done directly on the card.
Inserts
Many of the seven basic insert sets in 2017 Topps Star Wars: Rogue One Series 2 continue what was started in Series 1 and Mission Briefing. These include Heroes of the Rebellion, Villians of the Galactic Empire and Character Stickers. The product also has the final five Darth Vader Continuity inserts.
