2017 Topps Stadium Club Baseball Fancies Photos with Hints of Chrome

2017 Topps Stadium Club Baseball isn’t all about the photography, but that’s the major focal point. That’s the brand’s niche and identity. That said, there are several other elements, including new inserts, guaranteed autographs and the return of Stadium Club Chrome.
Each 2017 Topps Stadium Club Baseball hobby box has a pair of signed cards.
Base Set
The base set comes in at 300 cards. The design is full-bleed with a somewhat minimal nameplate. Past and present players are mixed together.

Parallels land one per pack and come in several types. Foil parallels come in Gold, Blue (1:8 packs), Rainbow (/25) and hobby-exclusive Gold Rainbow (1/1). Other basic parallels include Black and White (1:48 hobby packs) and First Day Issue (ten copies each).
New to 2017 Topps Stadium Club Baseball are Chrome parallels. These originally debuted in 1999 before becoming a standalone release in 2000. Besides the basic versions that are inserted one per hobby box, there are Refractor (1:64 packs), Gold Minted (one per case), hobby-only Superfractors (1/1) and select autographs (/10 or less).

A total of 50 cards in the 2017 Stadium Club Baseball base set have variation short prints. These use an alternate photo.
Inserts
The product has a moderate amount of insert sets as well, ranging from the moderately easy to tough to pull.
Beam Team and Contact Sheet both return. Power Zone and Scoreless Streak both have roots in Stadium Club’s original run back in the 1990s. Each of these has case-hit Gold, Blue (/99), Orange (/50) and Gold Rainbow (1/1) parallels.

Beam Team, Power Zone and Scoreless Streak also have select autographed versions. These have Orange (/5) and Gold Rainbow (1/1) parallels.
Instavision cards, another insert from the past, is back (it re-debuted in 2016). These are among the harder inserts to pull, falling one per case. Parallels are Gold (/50), Black (/25), Orange (/10) and Gold Rainbow (1/1).
Autographs
The majority of 2017 Stadium Club Baseball autographs are essentially signed versions of the base card. Autographed on-card, they have Gold Foil (/50), Black Foil (/25), hobby-exclusive Rainbow Foil (/10), and hobby-only Gold Rainbow (1/1) parallels.

Lone Star Signatures and dual-autographed Co-Signers are both back. These have Orange (/5) and Gold Rainbow Foil (1/1) versions as well.
