One of the most anticipated NBA Draft classes in many years is just about ready for its collecting closeup. With the late-October arrival of 2017-18 NBA Hoops Basketball, the new-season iteration of Panini America’s landmark franchise, the hot rookies will finally have hot NBA Rookie Cards. Markelle Fultz, Lonzo Ball, Jayson Tatum and more will headline a banner collecting season that begins in earnest on October 25.

And while the blistering-hot 2017 rookie crop will headline 2017-18 NBA Hoops Basketball, the product also will feature the welcoming array of attributes that have long made it the quintessential way to start the NBA collecting season. On average, each hobby box (eight cards per pack, 24 packs per box, 20 boxes per case) will deliver two autographs and a whopping 24 inserts or parallels.


Additional highlights of 2017-18 NBA Hoops Basketball include . . .

• Back by popular demand, look for hobby-exclusive Hot Signatures and Red Hot Signatures (numbered to 25), Hot Signatures Rookies and Red Hot Signatures Rookies (numbered to 25).

• The chase-worthy Road to the NBA Finals insert returns with a comprehensive set that documents the NBA playoffs from the first round through the Finals. Also look for a special Kevin Durant Finals MVP card that rounds out the set and is numbered to just 99.

• Other hobby-exclusive inserts include We Got Next, Back Stage Pass, Special Delivery, Courtside and Team Leaders; each insert has Artist Proof (numbered to 25) and Gold (numbered to 10) parallels.

• 2017-18 NBA Hoops Basketball pays tribute to the legendary career of Kobe Bryant with a 10-card subset featuring some of the greatest moments of Kobe’s career.
