2017-18 Topps UEFA Champions League Chrome Soccer marks the first time the league has been featured in an all-chromium style set. Like other Topps Chrome sets, much of the focus is on colorful Refractors.





Autographs are also included at a rate of one per hobby box.


Base Set

The 2017-18 Topps UEFA Champions League Chrome base set has 100 cards. That puts it on the small side. It should also means a greater focus on bigger stars.






Standard for virtually all modern Chrome sets from Topps, there are several levels of Refractor parallels. Basic Refractors, which are 1:3 hobby packs, are the only ones that aren’t serial numbered. Other Refractors include Purple, Blue, Green, Gold (/50), Orange (/25), Red (/10) and one-of-a-kind Superfractors.





Autographs and Inserts

Base Autographs in 2018 Topps UEFA Champions League Chrome use the same general design as the main set. While a lot of Topps Chrome sets in other sports have on-card signatures, these appear to use labels.






Refractors are present here as well, albeit with a smaller rainbow. Green, Gold, Red (/10) and Superfractors (1/1) are among the levels.





On the regular insert side, Future Stars highlight up-and-coming UEFA players. The design is the same as the one used for the similar insert set in 2017 Topps Chrome Baseball.





Lightning Strike spotlights those who have a knack for scoring goals. Select cards also have signed versions.
