2021 Bowman Draft Baseball takes a deep dive into the season’s MLB draft. Similar to 2021 Bowman Chrome, it does so with three distinct hobby box types. This lets collectors take a Goldilocks approach to picking the one that’s just right for them, fitting both their budget and targets within the product.

For starters, there’s hobby, which has 12 packs of 32 cards per box. These boxes have three total autographs and 24 Refractors.

For those looking to go big or make for an efficient break, there’s Super Jumbo, which have just five packs per box but each pack has 120 cards. Five autographs are in each box as well as 40 Refractors.

New to Bowman Draft are Hobby LITE boxes, which bring a lower price tag but lack the autographs. Basically, these are for collectors who like chasing rainbows and early MLB cards but might not have the same interest or budget for ink. Hobby LITE boxes have ten packs of 16 cards. There’s ten Refractors in the box but no guaranteed autographs.




2021 Bowman Draft Baseball Checklist Overview

A total of 200 prospects make up the 2021 Bowman Draft Baseball base set. The big draw here is the fact that this represents some of the first MLB cards of players taken in the 2021 draft. It’s not exclusively fresh picks, though. Other top baseball prospects working their way through the minors also appear.

Chrome Prospect Autographs make up the bulk of the signatures in 2021 Bowman Draft Baseball. These feature on-card signatures and are, historically, among a player’s most important cards. These round out the 2021 Bowman Chrome Prospect Autographs lineup that started in 2021 Bowman and 2021 Bowman Chrome.


Like the base set, 2021 draft picks are the big draw.

Other Autographs and Inserts

Bowman Draft Night inserts show pictures of players in the moments immediately after their names were called at the 2021 MLB Draft. These also have Refractors (/250), Green Refractors (/99), Gold Refractors (/50), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1). Select cards also have autographs (/99) and their own Gold Atomic Refractors (/50), hobby-exclusive Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).


Bowman Invicta is a new insert set in 2021 Bowman Draft Baseball. These have a Topps Valor vibe, a brand from the company’s portfolio used in the past for football and UFC. Invicta parallels include Atomic Refractors (/150), Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25, hobby-only), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1). Autographs are numbered to 99 and have four additional levels of parallels numbered to 50 or less.







Another insert debut is Genesis, which heads to outer space with a design inspired by The Big Bang. Refractors (/250), Green Refractors (/99), Gold Refractors (/50), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1) are the parallels available for these. There are also Genesis Autographs (/99). Parallels for these are limited to Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).


Franchise Futures round out the regular inserts in 2021 Bowman Draft. Parallel colors and print runs match up with those found in Genesis. Franchise Futures Autographs (/99) have signatures from two players. Gold Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1) can also be found for these.


Class of 2021 Autographs (/250) is another place that highlights the draft class. Additional versions include Gold Refractors (/50), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).


2021 Bowman Draft Baseball also has another batch of All-American Game Autographs.
