Chrome is the way. 2022 Topps Chrome Star Wars Mandalorian: Beskar Edition adds some shine to cards from the standard season 1 and season 2 sets as well as adding some new content. It also means Mando Refractors and more from Grogu.


Hobby boxes promise plenty of parallels as well as either an autograph or sketch.


2022 Topps Chrome Star Wars Mandalorian: Beskar Edition Checklist Overview


The base set has 125 total cards. Of those, 100 are from the season 1 and 2 releases only now with the Chrome makeover. Another 25 cards are entirely new. According to Topps, these have unused unit photography from both seasons.





Every pack promises one parallel. Like every modern Topps Chrome release, there’s a rainbow of versions to chase:

• Refractors
• Blue Refractors – /99
• Purple Refractors – /75
• Green Refractors – /50
• Orange Refractors – /25
• Black Refractors – /10
• Red Refractors – /5
• Superfractors – 1/1
  

Three standard insert sets are also part of the checklist: Armored and Ready, Chrome Comic Covers, and Illustrated Characters. These have Blue Refractors (/99), Green Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).






Topps release materials also mention that there are short prints and die-cuts in the product but don’t get into any specifics.







Autographs and Sketch Cards


Like the rest of the set, autograph signers cover both seasons of The Mandalorian. Parallels for these include Blue Refractors (/150), Green Refractors (/99), Purple Refractors (/50), Orange Refractors (/25), Red Refractors (/5) and Superfractors (1/1).






The checklist also has Dual Autographs (/25) and Triple Autographs (/5), both with additional Superfractors (1/1). Red Refractors (/5) are also available for duals.


Sketch cards come in both standard and shaped formats. In both instances, cards come with original artwork of characters or scenes from the show.
