2022 Topps Clearly Authentic Baseball gets right down to business with a simple structure. Boxes have a single card. More than that, it’s a particular type of card — an autograph done on acetate stock.
2022 Topps Clearly Authentic Baseball Checklist Overview
Base Autographs take on the same design as the flagship 2022 Topps Baseball release. Photos aren’t necessarily the same. Plus there’s the obvious upgrades with the signature and plastic-like build of the card.
Additional parallels are available in several colors:
- Green – /99
- Black – /75
- Red – /50
- Blue – /25
- Purple – /10
- Orange – /5
- Gold – 1/1

The checklist has four additional autograph inserts, two of which also have flagship roots.
Generation Now is one that makes the jump over. These feature top young players in the league.

With 2022 Topps Baseball celebrating the 35th anniversary of 1987 Topps Baseball, the woodgrain design is another one that’s ported into this release.

Both Generation Now and 1987 Topps Baseball Autographs have their own Green (/99), Black (/75), Red (/50), Blue (/25), Purple (/10), Orange (/5) and Gold (1/1) parallels.
For the past few years, Clearly Authentic has been taking a page from Topps Heritage and working through the years from the company’s baseball beginnings. This year it means 1955 Reimagining Autographs. These use the 1955 Topps Baseball design as their inspiration. Base versions have no more than 199 copies each with one-of-one Sepia being the lone parallels.
Topps Tek Autographs bring a different acetate bring another acetate brand into the fold. These are also numbered to 199 or less. Blue (/25), Purple (/10), Orange (/5) and Gold (1/1) versions are also available.

All cards in 2022 Clearly Authentic come with on-card signatures.
