2021-22 Panini Court Kings Basketball might have some of the most varied designs of the year. That said, they all revolve around the idea of art. Think of it as a large art gallery or museum. Not everything is going to connect with everyone but there are likely to be parts that speak to you.
Hobby boxes may only have 10 cards, but there is a level of variety within that. For starters, two cards are hits — one autograph and one memorabilia card. Collectors will also find a pair of inserts and a parallel. The remaining five cards are base including one rookie.
2021-22 Panini Court Kings Basketball Checklist Overview
One of the most distinct features in Court Kings is the set-up for rookies. Generally, there aren’t a huge number of players. However, each that are on the checklist have four different cards, each with a totally different design. As the set progresses from Rookies I to Rookies IV, things get progressively tougher as well.

Rookies figure prominently among the product’s autographs, including both Fresh Paint and Heir Apparent.

More ink can be found in Brush Strokes, Holding Court Signatures, and Legacy Portrait Signatures.

International blasters are the only place to find Jade and Pink parallels for the product’s various autograph sets.
Court Kings’ variety theme carries over to the checklist’s other inserts.
State of the Art is a new addition. At first glance, these may seem on the abstract side. Look a little closer and there’s the outline of the state where the star plays.

This is one of a handful of short print inserts. The returning Aurora, Blank Slate and Le Cinque Piu Bell are also rare finds.

Acetate Rookies return. But like past years, they’re exclusive to international blasters, landing two per box.

Other inserts on the checklist include Artistry in Motion, Contemporaries, Dressed to Impress, First Steps, Maestros and Work in Progress.
