The annual prospecting pastime known as Panini America’s Elite Extra Edition Baseball is just about ready for another blockbuster season under the watchful eye of a demanding collector base hungry for the game’s brightest future stars. Set to arrive in early December, 2017 Elite Extra Edition Baseball boasts the trademark expansive checklist collectors have come to expect, as well as a wealth of on-card autographs, the always-popular Silhouettes and a rainbow array of colorful parallels.

On average, each hobby box of 2017 Elite Extra Edition Baseball (five cards per pack, five packs per box, 20 boxes per case) will deliver seven to eight autographs (including at least one Future Threads Silhouettes Autograph) and two to three memorabilia cards. All base cards will be numbered to 999 or less and 10 parallels will feature seven different substrates (surfaces).


The highlights of 2017 Elite Extra Edition Baseball are many and include . . .

• On-card autographs of top 2017 draft picks, with 14 different parallels numbered to 100 or less.

• Find a combination of Jumbo, Dual, Triple and Quad memorabilia cards featuring some of the game’s future stars; look for one Future Threads Silhouette Autograph per hobby box, on average.

• Panini America-exclusive Dominican Prospect League (DPL) players in the base, Autographs and Future Threads Silhouette Autographs sets.

• Look for the 2017 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team, 18U National Team and 15U National Team in Contenders USA Baseball Tickets as well as 2017 USA Baseball Collegiate National Team Silhouette Autographs.
