As the world gears up for The Rise of Skywalker, the first family of a galaxy far, far away is the focus of another recap set of Star Wars trading cards. 2019 Topps Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga covers the adventures of Anakin, Luke, Leia and beyond.


Keeping in line with a lot of other Star Wars sets from the past few years, hobby boxes promise one autograph plus one additional hit.

Base Set Overview


Spanning 100 cards, the base set for 2019 Topps Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga covers the first eight films plus TV shows like The Clone Wars. The common thread between these particular parts besides all being blockbusters? They center on the Skywalker clan.








Parallels, which come in six levels, land one per hobby pack. Colors include Orange, Blue (1:4 packs), Green (/99), Purple (/25), Printing Plates (1/1) and Red (1/1).






Inserts and Autographs


Regular inserts are also one per hobby pack.


Skywalker Legacy are similar to the Evolution sets in that they look at how Skywalkers evolve.







Luke gets the spotlight in a couple of additional chase sets. Path of the Jedi has turning points in his heroic journey. Iconic Looks go with fashion, highlighting his various costumes.


Other inserts include Allies and Enemies.


These sets each have four parallels: Green (/99), Purple (/25), Printing Plates (1/1) and Red (1/1).


Based on the set’s initial info, 2019 Topps Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga Autographs use stickers. In addition to base versions, these come with Orange (/99), Blue (/50), Green (/25), Purple (/5), Printing Plate (1/1) and Red (1/1) parallels.







Dual and Triple Autographs are also available in limited numbers. Dual signature cards have Green (/25), Purple (/5) and Red (1/1) versions. One-of-one Red are the lone parallels for the Triple Autographs.







Instead of medallions or patches, the manufactured relics in the product are Commemorative Blueprints, at least for hobby. Parallels fall in with Orange (/99), Blue (/50), Green (/25), Purple (/5) and Red (1/1).


Blaster-style retail value boxes have their own manu-relics, Commemorative Name Plate Patch cards. Parallel levels match up with the Blueprints.
