2016 TOPPS UFC MUSEUM COLLECTION ADDS ANOTHER HIGH-END BRAND TO THE OCTAGON

2016 Topps UFC Museum Collection isn’t the first time the two brands have been used together. However, it is the first time Museum Collection has headed to the Octagon as a standalone brand. While still very much a high-end release, the configuration is different from how it has been used in other sports.
Instead of four mini packs per box, 2016 Topps UFC Museum Collection has just one. However, each has three hits: an autograph, an autographed relic and an unsigned relic card.
BASE SET

The 2016 Topps UFC Museum Collection base set is kept on the small side with just 50 cards. While the color schemes are different, the overall design is in line with the 2016 baseball and 2015 football releases.
Parallels come in Copper, Gold (/75), Sapphire (/50, Ruby (/25) and one-of-one Emerald.
AUTOGRAPHS

Like the base design, autograph themes will be familiar to those who have collected other Museum Collection sets.
Archival Autographs are the central line of signed cards. All come serial numbered with a checklist that features current and retired fighters as well as some of UFC’s fresh faces. The focus is for on-card autographs but this might not be the case for all.
Archival Autographs have Gold (/25), Ruby (/10) and Emerald (1/1) parallels.
Dual Autographs do promise on-card signatures. The checklist is small with just five different cards. Each is numbered to 10.
Framed Autographs, one of the brand’s distinguishing features, are included. These also have on-card signatures. Each has three different versions: Gold Frame (/15), Silver Frame (/5) and Black Frame (1/1).
Autographed relics fall under the Signature Swatches banner. These come with one, two or three pieces of relics. All are numbered and have Gold (/25) and Emerald (1/1) parallels.
RELIC CARDS

2016 Topps UFC Museum Collection relic cards come in a few different forms. Meaningful Materials are the most basic, coming with either a piece of fighter-worn gear or event-used material. All levels are numbered including the Gold (/35), Copper (/10) and Emerald (1/1) parallels.
Primary Pieces come with four swatches. Single-fighter versions are available for both current and retired fighters, each with separate checklists. There’s also quad relics with four fighters.
Museum Memorabilia cards are all one-of-a-kind. These have a jumbo swatch from a prime part of the gear.
