2019-20 Panini Prizm Premier League Soccer marks a new beginning for the EPL soccer card license. Now in the hands of Panini, this is the first full Premier League card product under their worldwide exclusive, which also covers stickers. Prizm has been used in a sport on multiple occasions in the past, most notably with the 2014 and 2018 World Cups.


Like before, color and autographs play a big role in the checklist. Hobby boxes, which have a dozen packs, promise one autograph and 16 Prizms parallels. Every other pack averages another insert as well.

2019-20 Panini Prizm Premier League Soccer Base Set Basics


The 2019-20 Prizm Premier League base set is a big one, arriving with 300 cards.








Prizms parallels, which are notable for have a rainbow shine when held under bright light, come with a variety of colors and versions. Among those available in hobby packs are: Silver, Multicolor, Hyper, Blue (/199), Red (/149), Purple (/99), Blue Ice (/75), Orange (/25), Gold (/10), Gold Power (/5) and Black (1/1).







Autographs and Other Inserts


Falling one per hobby box, autographs are more common than they’ve been in past Prizm soccer sets. Signatures Prizms includes more than 40 current players. Similar to base cards, these have several parallels.








Club Legends Signatures spotlight all-time Premier League greats. Flashback Autographs also look to the past.










Multi-autograph cards are available with Dual Signatures. Combinations are a mix of past and present players.








Prizm brings with it several additional insert sets — ten to be exact.


Color Blast are extremely rare, landing 1:10 cases (1:120 hobby boxes). These cards have a minimal background as far as area goes. Players are cast in front of a colorful exploding background. Similar Color Blast inserts debuted in2019 Panini Prizm Baseball and rank as some of the most popular cards in the product.









Kaboom! is one of Panini’s most distinct insert lines. These use illustrated takes on players and cast them against a patterned foil background. They’re also tough to find with one per hobby case. The checklist includes a top player from all 20 clubs.







More short print inserts are found in Team Logos and Stadiums. All EPL teams are included.
