2022 Topps Chrome Sapphire Formula 1 is driven by the color blue. Taking the main 2022 Topps Chrome F1 set as the foundation, cards are given a familiar makeover with some premium prestige.
2022 Topps Chrome Formula 1 Checklist Overview
The 200-card base set is the same as the one found in 2022 Topps Chrome. To that end, some may see this as a parallel of sorts. Sapphire cards are not exactly the same, though. Rather than the usual metallic looking surface, these get blue borders and a background filled with triangles going in different directions.
Besides regular racer cards, there are subsets covering things like F2, cars and moments from the 2021 season.
If you’re looking for autographs, you won’t find them in 2022 Topps Chrome Sapphire Formula 1. Besides parallels, the only other inserts are 10 Image Variations.
Hobby boxes are exclusive to the Topps website starting on January 27, 2023. Each box delivers four total parallels and variations.
